I had actually purchased the figs for a salad but ended up only using stone fruits so the next morning when I woke up and saw those pretty plump figs, I knew they had a place in my breakfast.
- 1-2 thick slices of bread
- 2-3 Tbsp almond butter
- 2 figs, thinly sliced
- Honey to drizzle (sub maple syrup or agave for vegan version)
- Toast the bread to your desired texture.
- Spread almond butter on top.
- Top with sliced figs.
- Drizzle with honey.
